Whitney Holloman and
Morgan Holopirek earned a default win at No. 3 with McKendree being short a player. The Bearcats won hard fought 9-8 match over
Hannah Waine and
Julia Yamate at No.2 doubles.
Holopirek put Jewell within one win of a clinch with a dominating 6-0, 6-0 performance at No. 5 singles. Richison earned a default win at No.2 singles when her opponent had to withdraw due to injury. Waine earned a three set super tiebreak win at No. 3 before Holloman won her match at No.4 singles 6-4, 6-1.
The Bearcats only singles win came at No.1 as Mackay lost in three sets, 7-6, 6-4 and 17-15.
