Box Score The William Jewell College women's tennis team lost a tough 6-3 match today to William Woods University at Clayview Country Club. The Owls came in ranked No. 9 in the NAIA.

William Woods jumped out to an early 2-0 in doubles with victories at No.2 and No. 3 doubles respectively by scores of 8-2.

Becca Richison got Jewell on the board with an 8-4 at No. 1 doubles.
Junior
Hannah Waine pulled the Cards even to two matches a piece with her 6-4, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles before the Owls took victories at No. 4 and No. 2 singles.
Mackay battled to a thrilling three set win at No. 1 singles 7-6, 6-2, 10-8 which put the dual score 4-3 in favor of William Woods.
The Owls then won at No. 5 and No. 6 in straight sets to earn the dual win.
What's Next
The Cardinals travel to Wichita, Kan., on Friday, March 9 to take on Newman University. First serve is set for 1:00 p.m.
