The offense came alive on Sunday for the William Jewell women's soccer team as they secured a 3-0 win on the road at Lindenwood. The victory improves the Cardinals to 3-10-1 on the year and 3-8 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play. 

How it Happened

• Kayla Crowder put Jewell on top early with two goals. The first came from 22 yards out off a feed from Bella Catano. Exactly four minutes later the junior came through again with a header off a corner from Lexy Hawkins to push the lead to two. 
• Hawkins expanded the lead to three in the 70th minute on a free kick from 33 yards. 

For the Cardinals

• Crowder and Hawkins led Jewell with three shots each and made the most of them, scoring three times. 
• Hawkins finished with three points with a goal and an assist. 
• Kaylie Kappelmann picked up seven saves o the day. 

For the Lions

• Lindenwood totaled 19 shots, led by five from Maggie Miller. 
• Keeper Megan Swanson finished with three saves.
