The William Jewell softball team continued to roll on Friday winning their fifth and sixth straight games with a sweep of Missouri S&T by scores of 4-3 in eight innings, and 6-0 to move to 13-7 on the season and 4-2 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- B2: The Cardinals jumped on top first in the bottom of the second inning as Ashlyn Sutton doubled and came around to score on an inside-the-park home run off the bat of Allison Rawls. (2-0, Jewell)
- T4: Missouri S&T got on the board in the fourth with an RBI up the middle by Anna Burke. (2-1, Jewell)
- T5: A double by Allen scored pinch runner Macy McCalla to tie things up for the Miners. (2-2)
- T8: The Miners took the lead in extra innings as a Cardinal error allowed Jackson to score. (3-2, MST)
- B8: The Cardinals immediately responded as Lindsay Glynn led off the frame with a double followed by a bunt single from Madelynne Greenstreet. With no outs, Anna Biondo singled up the middle scoring both runners to walk off with the win. (4-3, Jewell)
