The William Jewell baseball team earned a 3-2 win over Drury University to salvage the final game of the three-game series on Sunday afternoon in Ozark, Mo. The win moves the Cardinals to 18-27-1 overall and 12-18 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• T4: Jewell grabbed the lead first in the fourth inning on back-to-back doubles from Nick Modrcin and Chase Fiddler. (2-0, Jewell)
• B5: The Panthers tied the game in the fifth on a fielder's choice and error. (2-2)
• T8: Trent Bollman singled scoring Chase Redick to put Jewell on top by one after eight innings. (3-2, Jewell)
