The William Jewell men's soccer team suffered a 5-0 set back at the hands of Quincy on Friday night. The loss drops the Cardinals to 0-4 on the season and 0-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. 

How it Happened

• The Hawks took an early 2-0 lead as Justin Armfield found the goal off a corner kick in the ninth minute followed by a goal from Aubrey Reis in just under five minutes later. 
• Quincy scored three more times, including two from Reis in the second half. 

For the Cardinals

• Jewell was led by Cody Benedict's four shots while Noah Espinosa added two. 
• Jose Cambreros finished with six saves with Jayden Hicks picking up one. 

For the Hawks

• Aubrey Reis and Cooper Reis led Quincy with four shots a piece, as the former completed the hat trick of three goals while the other added an assist.
