The William Jewell women's soccer team grabbed their first win of 2019 with a 2-0 win on the road at Drury University. The Cardinals to move to 1-5-1 overall and 1-3 in Great Lakes Valley Conference action. 

How it Happened

• Gracie Schweinfurth put the Cardinals on the board early scoring a goal in the sixth minute on an assist from Katie Pohl. 
• In the 65th minute freshman Carolyn Schneck helped seal the win with her first career goal with the helper coming from Lexy Hawkins. 

For the Cardinals

• Jewell outshot the Panthers 17-12 but had just five shots on goal. 
• Kayla Crowder and Allison Malott each finished with four shots while Schweinfurth added three. 
• Kaylie Kappelmann collected six saves. 

For the Panthers

• Drury was limited to just 12 shots, including two from Lindsey Lee, Chloe Cash, and Christer Harpe.
• Keeper Kaitlyn Knetzke finished with three saves.
