The William Jewell women's soccer team fell 3-1 on the road at Southwest Baptist on Sunday afternoon to drop to 1-6-1 overall and 1-4 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play. 

How it Happened

• The Bearcats jumped on top early with a goal by Lauren Hudak just 52 seconds into the game. 
• Jewell tied things up in the 68th minute as Allison Malott scored off an assist from Jasmine Collier. 
• SBU scored twice more over the final 20 minutes to seal the victory. 

For the Cardinals

• Kayla Crowder led the Cardinals with three shots including two on goal. Malott and Jayme Coon added two each. 
• Kaylie Kappelmann finished with eight saves. 

For the Bearcats

• Raegan Edwards collected a game-high six shots with four on goal. 
• Keeper Ashlyn Gibbs had four saves. 
• The Bearcats finished with 17 shots to Jewell's 11.
