The William Jewell men's soccer team fell to 0-7 on the season and 0-5 in league action on Sunday as they dropped a 2-1 decision at Southwest Baptist. 

How it Happened

• Southwest Baptist jumped out to early lead with a goal by Kevin Zavala in the 11th minute. 
• Griffin King scored his first goal of the season in the 49th minute to knot the score at one. 
• The Bearcats' Austin Roberts scored the game winner off a feed from Isaiah Waddy in the 79th minute. 

For the Cardinals 

• The Cardinals outshot SBU 24-8 led by Dawson Lee's five including four on goal. Noah Espinosa and Carson Lee each added four. 
• Jose Cambreros finished with three saves.

For the Bearcats

• Zavala led the Bearcats with three shots, two on goal. 
• Owen Luscombe collected eight saves.
