For the second straight game the William Jewell men's soccer team took an early lead only to see their opponent score three unanswered goals late in the game to steal the win. Jewell fell 3-1 on Sunday afternoon to Harding University to drop to 0-2 on the season. 

How it Happened

• Cody Benedict put the Cardinals on top early with a free kick goal in the 14th minute. 
• Just before the half, Harding's Oliver Callado found the back of the net to tie the game at one. 
• In the 77th minute the Bison converted a penalty kick after a foul in the box to take the lead. 
• With under 11 minutes to play Joe Reudi pushed the Harding lead to three. 

For the Cardinals

• Jewell was outshot 26 to 11 with just four on goal. 
• Keaton Wiley led the Cards with three shots while Benedict added two. 
• The Cardinals split the keeper responsbilities with both Jayden Hicks and Jose Cambreros collecting four saves a piece. 

For the Bison

• Christian Ramos posted a game-high eight shots including five on goal. 
• Jeremy Nwonumah added six and Ruedi four.
