The William Jewell men's basketball team hits the road for the first time in Great Lakes Valley Conference play this season as they head to Illinois Springfield and Lewis.       

LAST TIME OUT
The Cardinals are coming off a 1-1 weekend having dropped Thursday's game to Truman before bouncing back to down Quincy by a final of 86-74.
 
Mason Alexander scored a career-high 28 points on Saturday while Eysan Wiley added a double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds.  

THE SERIES
Jewell and UIS have met just 10 times previously with each team taking five games. The Cardinals have won the last two, including last season's 110-90 shootout.
