The William Jewell women's basketball team dropped a rematch with the top ranked Drury Panthers on Thursday night in Springfield by a final of 98-57. The Cardinals move to 11-16 on the season and 7-12 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference play. 

How it Happened

• The Cardinals came out strong after a three pointer from Kaitlyn Baird made it a six point Jewell lead. Drury outscored the Cardinals 6-0 over the final three minutes. 
• Drury won the second quarter, 38-19, despite the Cardinals shooting better than 55% from the field. 
• The final 10 minutes had the Cardinals being outscored by just two as senior Kelly Hendershot scored six consecutive points. 

For the Cardinals

• Kiara Bradley led the Cardinals with 13 points and seven rebounds. 
• Hendershot finished with a career best six points in just nine minutes. 
• Jewell shot 41% from the field on 20-of-49. 

For the Panthers

• Hailey Diestelkamp led four players in double figures with 19 points. 
• The Panthers shot 49% from the field and connected on 17-of-23 free throws.
