SEWARD, Nebraska - The William Jewell men's tennis team opened the 2020-2021 season on Saturday on the road at Concordia (Neb.), falling by a narrow final of 4-3.

Pedro Braga won his season-opening match for the third year in a row, by a score of 5-7, 7-6, 10-6, at No. 2. Freshman
Evan Acuff earned his first collegiate win at No. 6 singles, 6-0, 6-2. The Cardinals grabbed the doubles point, winning at No. 1 by Braga and
Cutter Sanders and No. 3 with Acuff and junior
