COLUMBIA, Mo. - The William Jewell swimming teams opened the 2021-2022 season on Friday at the Show-Me Showdown, hosted by the University of Missouri. The Cardinal women finished seventh with 67 total points while the men held off Truman to finish sixth with 162 points.
The top event for the Cardinals was the men's 100 free where Jewell put three in the top-15. Meanwhile, freshman
Martina Torrent led the women's team with two top-15 finishes in the 100 breaststroke and 200 individual medley.
