TOPEKA, Kan. - The William Jewell men's and women's swim teams each won their respective side of the KC Crown Classic as apart of the Midseason Invite over the weekend. The women who tallied 916 points were 99 points ahead of Rockhurst, Saint Mary, Nebraska-Kearney, Southwest Baptist, Oklahoma Christian, and Barton Community College. The Cardinal men defeated cross-town rival Rockhurst by six points (941) to take the men's victory over the same opponents minus Nebraska-Kearney.
The multi-day event saw eight school records set, four on each side, and a total of 43 new additions to the program's All-Time Top 10 list in addition to the two victories.
