Cardinals Drop 4-0 Decision to Illinois Springfield

LIBERTY, Mo. - The William Jewell men's soccer team dropped 4-0 GLVC decision on Friday night. The Cardinals fall to 2-10 on the season 2-8 in conference play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • UIS wasted little time grabbing the lead with a goal in the third minute. 
  • The Stars added three additional goals in the second half to bring the score to the final. 
  • The Cardinals had four shots in the second half but could not convert. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
  • Carson Lee led the Cardinals with three of Jewell's six shots. 
  • Eli Gratz totaled four saves.

Jewell will host Lewis University on Sunday in their final home game of the season.
