LIBERTY, Mo. - The William Jewell men's soccer team was downed by Lewis University on Sunday afternoon in Greene Stadium by a final of 4-1. The Cardinals fall to 2-11 and 2-9 in conference play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Lewis scored two quick goals in the 14th minute on a goal by Arturs Gorodnickis and a penalty kick from Justin Darlage. The Flyers added a goal in the 27th minute to take a 3-0 lead. 
• Jewell got on the board in the 36th minute as Cole Bulgren sent a free kick around the left side bar for his second score of the season. 
• The Flyers added a goal in the 78th minute to bring the score to the final. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Keketso Lipholo led the Cardinals with three shots, including two on goal. 
• Eli Gratz had seven saves.
