LIBERTY, Mo. - The William Jewell women's soccer team finished in a 2-2 draw with Illinois Springfield on Friday evening at Greene Stadium. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• UIS jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the opening half with two goals in less than 60 seconds. 
• In the second half, Alex Johnson cut the deficit in half with a goal in the 65th minute. The fifth year senior tied the match in the 83rd minute on a free kick assist. 
• Jewell got off three shots in the overtime periods but could not score to finish in the draw. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Johnson finished with two goals on three shots while Clara Fronabarger had both assists. 
• Emily Glassman had two saves.
