KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - The William Jewell men's soccer team dropped 2-1 decision on the road at Truman State on Friday afternoon. The Cardinals got late momentum but it was too little too late as they fall to 2-12 on the season, 2-10 in conference play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Bulldogs grabbed the early lead, taking advantage of a penalty kick goal in the third minute. 
• Truman scored an insurance goal in the 80th minute. 
• The Cardinals got on the board in the 88th minute as Mikhail McComie scored unassisted. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Ethan Nichols led the team with three shots on goal and four total. 
• Eli Gratz made seven saves.
