WARRENSBURG, Mo. - The William Jewell women's golf team tied for ninth place at the Midwest Classic, hosted by the University of Central Missouri.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Frida Hammarlund again led the Cardinals by shooting a two-round score of 160 to finish 32nd. 
• Abby Wolff posted a 79 on day one, one stroke over her career best, followed by an 83 to finish 40th overall. 
• Madelyn Luttjohann was 49th with a score of 164 while Emma Litterscheid posted a 166. Katye Vausbinder rounded out the team with a 172.

Jewell will travel to the Tulsa Cup, hosted by Rogers State University, next week for the fall season finale.
