LIBERTY, Mo. - The William Jewell men's soccer team scored two second half goals but fell 3-2 on Sunday to the Tritons of Missouri-St. Louis to drop to 1-8 on the season and 1-6 in the GLVC. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• UMSL got the scoring started in the 21st minute with a goal by Arman Kovac. 
• In the 47th minute, the Cardinals tied the game on a penalty kick by Mikhail McComie but the Tritons converted a PK of their own just three minutes later to go back in front, 2-1. 
• In the 68th minute, UMSL extended their lead to two.
• Cole Bulgren pulled Jewell within on in the 70th minute with a goal from 10 yards out on a feed from Chris Lee but the Cardinals were unable to come up with the equalizer. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• McComie and Bulgren each scored their first goals of the season while Ethan Nichols and Lee had the assists. 
• As a team, the Cardinals had 12 shots, led by four from McComie. 
• Eli Gratz posted six assists.
