INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The William Jewell men's soccer team took on one of the nation's top teams on Friday night with No. 2 Indianapolis, falling 5-1. The Cardinals drop to 1-9 on the year and 1-7 in league play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Greyhounds wasted no time breaking out to a big lead, score two goals in the first 18 minutes before adding another in the 39th to hold a 3-0 advantage at the break. 
• After UIndy added a score in the 51st minute, Mikhail McComie put the Cardinals on the board less than 60 seconds later after blocking a goal kick and sneaking it past the keeper. 
• UIndy put up an additional goal late in the second half to bring the score to the 5-1 final.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• The Cardinals finished with four shots as a team, one each by McComie, Cole Bulgren, Chris Lee and MJ Fritz. 
• Eli Gratz posted four saves.
