SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The William Jewell women's soccer team saw their first action in more than a year on Friday night on the road. The Cardinals fell 1-0 at Drury. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Drury scored the game's only goal in the 19th minute as Ava Scott found the back of the net. (1-0, DU)
• The Cardinals got off two shots in the second half but neither scored. 

FOR THE CARDINALS

• Jewell finished with four total shots, with two on goal, from Kayla Crowder and Mallory Dickerson. 
• Kaylie Kappelmann posted three saves. 

FOR THE PANTHERS

• Drury had just four shots with three on goal, all by different players. 
• Elsa Gonzalez had the game's only assist.
