ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The William Jewell men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Missouri-St. Louis on Friday afternoon on the road. The Cardinals, who played a man down for more than 80 minutes, move to 1-3-1 on the season. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Cardinals got the first shot off, just 67 into the game but a red card in the ninth minute followed immediately by an UMSL goal put the Tritons on top early. 
• UMSL added an insurance goal in the 76th minute as Omer Krdzic found Garrett Bass. 

FOR THE CARDINALS

• Jewell totaled three saves, one each by Carson Lee, Blake Desselle and Sam Wambold. 
• Eli Gratz recorded four saves. 

FOR THE TRITONS

• UMSL took 10 shots with six on target, led by three a piece from Bass and Bradley Fritsche. 
• Anton Mukhin had one save.
