LIBERTY, Mo. - The William Jewell women's soccer team suffered a 2-0 loss at the hands of Southern Indiana on Friday night at Greene Stadium. With the loss, the Cardinals drop to 0-5-2 on the season. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Southern Indiana scored in the 41st minute of the opening half to take a lead at the break after a score by Avery Schone. 
• The Eagles added a second goal in the 60th minute after Jill DiTusa. 
• The Cardinals were able to get two more shots off but unable to score.

FOR THE CARDINALS

• Jewell had just four total shots, by Katie Pohl, Abbey Negosian, Kate Lawrence and Kayla Crowder. 
• Kaylie Kappelmann finished with four saves. 

FOR THE SCREAMING EAGLES

• The Eagles had 14 total shots, six on goal, led by Maggie Winter and Jill DiTusa with three a piece. 
• Keeper Maya Etienne had three saves.
