LIBERTY, Mo. - The William Jewell men's soccer team challenged the No. 2 ranked Indianapolis Greyhounds on Sunday afternoon, falling 2-0 to drop to 2-5-1 on the season. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Nearing the end of the opening half, in the 35th minute, Alejandro Steinwascher scored on a header following a bicycle kick assist from Makel Rasheed. 
• The Greyhounds added another score in the 50th minute. 
• After just a single shot in the opening 45 minutes, the Cardinals rallied off 10 in the second half but were unable to connect. 

FOR THE CARDINALS

• Jewell totaled a season-high 11 shots, led by three from Alex Thiessen. Nico Bosemediano, Sam Wambold and Carson Lee also had two a piece. 
• Eli Gratz matched his season-best with seven saves. 

FOR THE GREYHOUNDS

• UIndy was led by Steinwascher's four shots with two on target. Dylan Bollard added three.
