SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The William Jewell volleyball team dropped a 3-0 GLVC decision at Drury on Saturday by finals of 25-15, 25-23, 25-19. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Jewell fell into an early hole, trailing by as many as nine. A kill by Grace Baucom ended the Drury run but a service error gave the Panthers the set. 
• Tied at 11, the Panthers scored four straight to take a 15-11 lead. Jewell rallied, tying the game at 18 after another Baucom kill. After Drury pushed the lead back to three, 23-20, the Cardinals got two kills by Maddie Wingert and another by Elizabeth Quinn to stave off set point but an error gave Drury the two set lead. 
• Trailing by two in set three after an Anna Godfredsen kill, the Cardinals were outscored 8-4 the rest of the way, falling 25-19. 

FOR THE CARDINALS

• Baucom led the Cardinals with 12 kills as Hannah Cope handed out 26 assists. 
• Quinn posted four blocks while Wingert and Jorey Luebbert added three each. 
• Haidan Baade finished with 14 digs. 

FOR THE PANTHERS

• Taylor Forth had a match-high 13 kills to lead Drury.
• Faith Alwardt finished with six blocks while Kayla Allison had 17 digs.

Jewell will return to the Mabee Center for the final time this season on Friday as they host Southwest Baptist for Senior Day at 7 p.m.
