Frida Hammarlund won her first event as a Cardinal as Jewell put seven players in the top 20.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cardinals got off to a solid start shooting 329 on day one to hold a commanding 12 stroke lead. Jewell shot a 345 on day two and held off a late Rockhurst push to win by five strokes.
- Hammarlund started the second round in second place with a 75 on day one. The junior put up a two round total of 159, 15 over par for the win, the first of her career. She becomes just the fourth player in the NCAA era to earn an individual victory.
- Katye Vausbinder jumped out to an early advantage, with a tournament-best round of 74 on day one. The junior totaled a tournament-high 12 birdies, seven more than the next player, to finish third overall.
- Freshmen Jaci Webb and Abby Wolff were also in the top-20 at No. 14 and 16 respectively after posting scores of 178 and 179, in their collegiate debuts.
- Emma Litterscheid, tied Wolff in 16th place with a 179.
- Individually, newcomer Madelyn Luttjohann was ninth overall with a score of 175 while Hrithika Bhugvandeen was 20th with a 181 two-round total.
