BOLIVAR, Mo. - The William Jewell women's golf team took seventh place at the Lady Panther Invitational, hosted by Drury University this week. Christian Brothers University won the team competition with a score of 629.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Frida Hammarlund led the Cardinals with a score of 153, eight shots out of first place, and her second top-2 finish of the season. The junior shot a 76 on day one and 77 on day two. 
• Abby Wolff also placed in the top-20, with a tie for 18th after posting a 162, improving by 14 spots and six strokes on day two. 
• Emma Litterscheid improved two spots on day two while Jaci Webb finished in a tie for 35th with a score of 166 and Madelyn Luttjohann at 178.
