ST. CHARLES, Mo. - The William Jewell women's soccer team suffered a 2-0 loss on Friday night at Lindenwood to drop to 0-6-1 on the season, 0-4 in GLVC play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Lions jumped out to an early lead with a goal by Maggie Weller in the 16th minute. 
• Jewell got off two shots in the latter part of the first half but both missed wide. 
• The Cardinals first shot on goal came in the 51st minute as Paige Liston's attempt was saved by the Lion keeper. 
• Lindenwood followed with another goal in just over four minutes later as Jewell managed just two shots over the final 36 minutes. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Liston and Alex Johnson led the Cardinals with two shots each. 
• Emily Glassman finished with seven saves.
