ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The William Jewell men's soccer team held No. 21 ranked Maryville scoreless for more than 42 minutes on Sunday, but the Saints got two on the board to win 2-0. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Cardinals got off an early shot by Keketso Lipholo but were held in check through the rest of the half. 
• Maryville got on the board in the 43rd minute on a goal by Bryce Dickerson. The Saints added an insurance goal in the 54th minute. 
• Jewell got off two additional shots, one on goal, but could not score. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• The Cardinals were out-shot 24-3, with one each by Lipholo, Carson Lee and Cole Bulgren. 
• Eli Gratz posted seven saves.
