THE SERIES

• The Cardinals are looking for their first win over the Greyhounds after dropping a 3-1 decision last season. This will be the first trip to Indianapolis since 2018. 
• Jewell took a set off of then-No. 15 Lewis last fall but dropped a 3-1 match at home and are 0-10 against the Flyers, all time. 

CARDINAL NOTES

• Jewell comes into the week ranked second in Division II with more than 900 assists on the season. Samantha Thompson is fifth in the GLVC with 456 total and 10th overall with 6.00 per set while Drew Baxter adds 4.37 per set. 
• With assists, comes kills and the Cardinals are tops in the conference and sixth nationally with 944 total for an average of 12.42 per set. Bella LaPorta leads all GLVC players with 253 kills, good for 14th in Division II and puts up 3.33 per set, which is seventh in the league. 
• Tatum Ernt and Alex Dvorak have put up a solid punch in the middle this season, as both are among the top-20 in the conference in blocking and hitting percentage. 
• Haidan Baade became the fourth player to join the 1,000 digs club last week and leads the conference and is 17th nationally with 336 total digs and 4.42 per set.
