LIBERTY, Mo. - The William Jewell volleyball team wraps up the regular season on Saturday afternoon as they head to crosstown rival Rockhurst for their edition of the Kansas City Crown, presented by Mammoth Sports Construction.

THE SERIES

• The Cardinals are searching for their first win over Rockhurst since September 13, 2011 in their first meeting as NCAA programs. Jewell has took the Hawks to five sets last season and led 13-12 in the finale but Rockhurst scored the final three points and escape with the win.  

CARDINAL NOTES

• Bella LaPorta leads the GLVC with 367 total kills entering the final week of the regular season, which also sits 26th in Division II. The sophomore has already surpassed Hannah Herndon's mark of 340 for second in a single season in the NCAA era. 
• As a team, the Cardinals lead the GLVC in total attacks and digs and are second in kills and blocks, while hitting .192 on pace to be the second best mark in the NCAA era. 
• Alex Dvorak has valuated up to fourth in the league with 1.12 blocks per set while Tatum Ernt is 11th with 0.86. Dvorak's total of 113 rejections this season are the most by a Cardinal freshman in the NCAA era and second only to Elizabeth Quinn's 139 (2019). 
• Defensively, Haidan Baade is 39th in Division II and second in the conference 487 total digs, a new career high for the senior, who is averaging 4.42 per set, including 4.84 in GLVC play.
