LEBANON, Ill. - In their postseason debut the William Jewell women's wrestling team captured fifth place at the NCWWC Southwest Regional scoring 43 team points. The Cardinals also advanced their first athletes to national championships, qualifying five wrestlers,

Sarina Bertram (155),
Emma Carter (170), and
Sydni Scott (191). Student-Athletes who place in the top five in their respective weight class automatically qualify for the National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships.
The host, No. 2 ranked McKendree came out on top followed by Colorado Mesa, Lindenwood, and Schreiner University to round out the top five.
