Four Cardinals Atop Inaugural Women's Wrestling All-GLVC Honorees

INDIANAPOLIS – Four William Jewell women's wrestlers were selected to the inaugural All-GLVC teams released by the Conference office on Friday. Emily Mendez and Shelby Kemp took home All-GLVC Second Team honors in the 110 and 131 weight classes, while the All-GLVC Third Team was comprised of Juliana Alejandro and Alex Waitsman in the 103 and 117 classes. Mendez is also Jewell's GLVC James R. Spaulding Sportsmanship Award honoree.

Mendez and Waitsman will compete at the NCAA Women's Wrestling National Championships March 6-7 in Coralville, Iowa.
