ST. CHARLES, Mo. - The William Jewell softball team dropped a GLVC doubleheader on Saturday at Lindenwood with finals of 6-0 and 8-0 in six innings. The Cardinals fall to 5-15 on the season and 1-5 in conference play. 

Game One: Jewell 0, Lindenwood 6
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Lindenwood plated two runs in the bottom of the first on two hits and a Cardinal error to take an early lead. 
• The Lions added four runs on four hits in the sixth to win 6-0. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Jewell was limited to three hits, one apiece from Kenzie Jones, Ella Hoffman and Sabrina Olmo. 
• Sammie Welt (0-6) took the loss despite allowing just a single earned run over six innings. 

Game Two: Jewell 0, Lindenwood 8
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Lindenwood took an early 2-0 lead in the nightcap with back-to-back RBI singles in the first frame. 
• The Lions added two runs in the third and four in the sixth to end the game early. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Allison Rawls and Hailey Wall had the two hits for the Cardinals. 
• Kenzie Jones (3-4) took the loss, allowing four earned on eight hits.
