WATERLOO, Ill. - The William Jewell women's golf team wrapped up the 2022 season on Saturday with a ninth place finish at the GLVC Championship, their highest mark since 2019 when they placed seventh.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Frida Hammarlund led the Cardinal lineup through the Championship with a 253 overall score to tie for 27th. 
• Katye Vausbinder finished one stroke behind Hammarlund at 254 to tie for 30th and finish with a team high 26 pars. 
• Madelyn Luttjohann tied for 41st overall with a score of 260. The freshman tied with Hammarlund for a team best three birdies. 
• In her Championship debut Abby Wolff finish with a 266 while Emma Litterscheid posted a 277.
