KANSAS CITY, Mo. - William Jewell women's golfer Frida Hammarlund wrapped up her 2022 season on Wednesday in the final round of the NCAA-II East Regional. In the first NCAA Tournament for the Cardinals since 2018, the junior from Sweden finished in a tie for 50th.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Round one brought chilly temperatures and rain throughout the day as Hammarlund shot an 86 to sit 64th after the first 18 holes. 
• Temperatures remained cool but the rain cleared for round two as the junior leaped 15 spots, posting a 78, her best round of the tournament. 
• In the final round, Hammarlund posted an 81 to finish in a tie with Northern Michigan's Annie Pietila for 50th place.
