KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The William Jewell women's golf team opened the 2022-2023 season at the Rockhurst Invitational where they finished second overall with a team score of 647, besting the hosts by one stroke and trailing only Missouri Southern.
THE LINEUP
- Coming off an NCAA Tournament appearance last May, Frida Hammarlund posted a score of 156 to tie for fourth overall.
- Abby Wolff also grabbed a top-10 finish, coming in eighth at 161.
- Katye Vausbinder and Madelynn Luttjohann finished one stroke apart at 165 and 166 to place 11th and 12th, respectively.
- Newcomer Charley Strahm rounded out the lineup at 180.
