ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The William Jewell women's soccer team dropped a 3-1 decision on Friday night at Missouri-St. Louis. The Cardinals fall to 1-6-1 on the season and 0-3-1 in conference play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Tritons wasted no time grabbing an early lead, scoring in the fourth minute. UMSL added a score in the 18th minute to go on top by two. 
• Jewell cut the lead in half before the break, as Clara Fronabarger scored her second goal of the season in the 29th minute. 
• UMSL added an additional goal in the 81st minute to bring the score to the final. 

KEY STATS

• The Cardinals totaled seven shots, led by two from Fronabarger. 
• Taylor Thompson finished with four saves while Katie Wagenheim had two.
