Cardinals Drop Home Opener to Saint Mary

LIBERTY, Mo. - The William Jewell women's wrestling team returned to the Mabee Center for the first time this season on Wednesday afternoon, hosting Saint Mary (Kan.). The Cardinals came in shorthanded and fell 40-8 with five open weights.

Sophomores Allison Meyer and Athena Willden led the pack with wins at 116 and 130 for the Cardinals.
