LIBERTY, Mo. – The William Jewell women's soccer team lost their conference matchup against the Missouri S&T Miners 3-1. The loss moves the Cardinals to 0-9 on the year and 0-6 in GLVC play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• After surrendering a Miner goal, sophomore Kim Munoz tied it up with a score of her own two minutes later.
• A late shot on goal by Brylee Rivera would be stopped in the top corner and Jewell would go into halftime trailing by one. 
• Cardinals would surrender a single goal in the second half and were  unable to come back before the final whistle.

• Munoz's goal was the first on the season.
• Rivera would have four shots, with one being on goal.
