FAYETTE, Iowa - The William Jewell women's soccer team fell just short on Friday night at Upper Iowa by a final of 3-2. The Cardinals drop to 0-10 on the season and 0-7 in conference play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Upper Iowa got on the board first with a goal in the 23rd minute to hold a 1-0 lead at the break. 
• The Cardinals struck quickly in the second half to knot things up as Brylee Rivera sent a short pass to Kennedy Holloway who found the back of the net. 
• In the 90th minute, Anya Linstrom scored on a rebound off the keeper after a shot from Emilie Bartlett. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Kim Munoz led the team with four shots, including two on goal, as the Cardinals were out shot 18-10. 
• Emily Glassman recorded nine saves.
