LIBERTY, Mo. - The William Jewell women's soccer team suffered a 2-0 loss on the road against the Drury University Panthers. The loss moves the Cardinals to 1-13-1 on the season and 0-7-1 in the GLVC.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• In the 30' midfielder Megan Giffin put up the Cardinals' first shot on goal of the afternoon but was saved by the Panthers.
• Emilie Bartlett had a shot on goal of her own blocked as teams headed into halftime tied at zero.
• Jewell allowed a pair of second half goals that made up the final result.

KEY STATS

• Giffin and Barlett combined for the only Cardinal shots on goal.
• Jenna Skeeters had 10 saves, tied for her career high.
