Jewell Loses On The Road To Bulldogs

KIRKSVILLE, Mo - The William Jewell men's soccer team lost to Truman State 2-0. The loss moves Jewell to 0-9-2 and 0-6-2 in the conference. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • After a pair of shots on goal by Nomar Ogaz and Cole Bulgren, the Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead on a penalty kick.
  • Coming out of halftime Cardinals continued to put shots up but were unable to mount the second half comeback.
  • A late goal by Truman finalized the 2-0 score.

KEY STATS
  • Ogaz, Bulgren, and Brian Vidal each had a shot on goal. 
  • Jewell out-shot the Bulldogs, 14 to 12.
