INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - William Jewell fifth year senior Kobe McKinley has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference men's basketball Player of the Week. 

Leading the Cardinals to two wins over Washburn and Newman University, he averaged 19.5 points, four points and three assists while shooting 59% from the field and 80% from the free throw line. Against Newman, he put in 22 points and seven rebounds while shooting 79% from the field to help the Cardinals to 4-0, their best start since 2017.  

This is the second GLVC Player of the Week honor of his career and first since Jordan Jermain last December.
