INDIANOLA, Iowa - The William Jewell women's wrestling team opened the 2023-2024 season on Saturday at the Luther Hill Open, hosted by Simpson College.
Two Cardinals placed among the top four in their respective weight class as
Athena Willden finished third at 155, grabbing five pins.
Alex Waitsman was fourth at 130 pounds, going 3-2 on the day.
