OWASSO, Okla. - The William Jewell women's golf team opened the spring the same way they did the fall with a tournament in northeast Oklahoma. The Cardinals posted a team score of 676 to place sixth overall in the Hillcat Classic, hosted by Rogers State, who took the team title at 609.
THE LINEUP
- Abby Wolff led the Cardinals with a 161, including a 79 in round two, one stroke off her career best to finish in a tie for 15th.
- Madelyn Luttjohann improved by seven eight on day two to finish tied for 36th overall with a score of 170 while Katye Vausbinder followed with a 173 to place 42nd.
- Ali Boswell and Jaci Webb finished at 46th and 50th with scores of 176 and 178, respectively.
- Lily Frazier rounded out the group with a score of 184.
