JOPLIN, Mo. - The William Jewell cross country teams headed south on Friday for the Southern Stampede, hosted by Missouri Southern State University. 

WOMEN (5K)

• Lottie Vickers and Landen Wilson paced the Cardinals at 22:12.25 and 22:16.78, respectively to place 156 and 157th. 
• Sadie Camp followed with a time of 22:46.44 while Svea Pierson posted a mark of 24:50.01 to round out the team. 

MEN (8K)

• Samson Selleck led the way for the Cardinals in the men's race, finishing 140th with a time of 29:50.27. 
• Harley Branch finished with a time of 31:53.49 while Kavan Phillips followed at 34:01.21.
• Justin Edwards finished out the group, crossing in 38:19.21.
