COLUMBIA, Mo. - The William Jewell men's and women's cross country teams continued their 2024 season at the Gans Creek Classic in Columbia, Missouri on Friday morning. The women's team finished 26th collectively, while the men one spot below at 27th in the men's 8K.

WOMEN (5K)

• Lottie Vickers led the women with a time of 25:39.1, while Sadie Camp and Brooke Ware finished two spots away from one another at 28:49.3 and 28:56.7, respectively.
• Morgan Mayo and Sophia McCune would also finish with only one runner between them. Mayo clocked a 32:39.5, with McCune finishing in 33:58.5 minutes.

MEN (4 Mile)

• Samson Selleck finished with a time of 28:04.5 to lead the men. 
• Kavan Phillips ran a 30:18.3 on Friday, while Sincere Davis finished just behind in 30:46.00. 
• Justin Edwards would round out the Cardinal men at 35:54.1 minutes.
